The Westcott Bowens to Profoto Speedring Adapter is a precisely engineered metal adapter that allows Profoto light shapers to be mounted on any Bowens-mount lighting system, developed in collaboration with David Lloyd.
  • Use your existing Profoto light modifiers on Bowens mount lighting without buying new ones
  • Milled metal for daily use, even with heavy light modifiers
  • Bowens bayonet mount, so you can attach it quickly without tools

Westcott Bowens to Profoto Speedring Adapter

The adapter allows you to continue using existing Profoto light modifiers on Bowens-mount lighting systems, including the Westcott FJ800, FJ400 Series and FJ250 strobes and the L120-B LED. This means there's no need to invest in new light modifiers when switching or expanding your lighting setup.

The adapter is precision-milled from premium metal and designed for intensive daily use, even with heavy light modifiers. The Profoto-format front ring ensures a snug, stable fit with softboxes and reflectors.

The Bowens bayonet lock allows quick, tool-free attachment. The compact and lightweight design ensures the light balance is not affected, whether in the studio or on location.

The adapter is ideal for photographers who use Profoto and Bowens lighting systems interchangeably. By continuing to use existing Profoto light modifiers, additional investment is kept to a minimum and setup time on location remains short.
