Create perfect shots using the LCD screens on the front and back. The front screen is ideal for taking selfies or recording vlogs. Here, you also see a smooth live preview with sharp details. The rear screen features fast touch controls, making it easy to switch modes and adjust settings.

Highlight Video

Highlights are made to be shared. With Highlight Video, everything is done for you. Connect the GoPro to your WiFi connection at home. While you charge the camera, the files are sent to the cloud. A complete highlight video with music and effects is instantly created for you. The result is automatically sent to your phone, so you can share it with the rest of the world straight away.

Professional shots

You do not have to be a professional to create smooth footage when using the Linear digital lens. Thanks to HyperSmooth 5.0 combined with the renewed Horizon Lock, you can film stable, horizontal content.

Improved battery

The renewed battery allows the camera to perform for longer in cold temperatures. Record up to 38% longer during your skiing/snowboarding adventure or other snowy activities. The battery also charges faster than its predecessor, so you can get back on track more quickly. Of course, the new GoPro also needs to be able to take a beating. The camera is fully waterproof up to 10 metres. The lens cover is scratch-resistant and ensures that the lens is even better protected. The lens cover can also be easily replaced if needed.

Night effects

Let your creativity run wild in the dark with three new timelapse modes. Capture the extraordinary light trails from the rotation of the Earth and the stars with Star Trails. Light trail images can also be captured closer to the ground using Light Trails. This allows you to capture vehicle trails in the dark. Finally, create beautiful brushstroke effects with moving light thanks to Light Painting.

HyperView Digital Lens

Shoot images in an 8:7 ratio and share them as 16:9 wide-angle shots. How? With the new HyperView Digital Lens, you see more of yourself and your surroundings. Every shot in 8:7 captures more of the scene. This makes it possible to create extra-tall vertical 9:16 recordings or another format without having to crop your footage drastically. The aspect ratio is easy to adjust in the GoPro Quik app. You can also easily make adjustments there to perfect your recordings. The footage you create is ready to share on your favourite social media platform.
