The TaipanV2 15-384 is equipped with a 12μm VOx uncooled Focal Plane Array and a resolution of 384 x 288, allowing you to effortlessly capture even the smallest temperature differences. The 15 mm lens with F1.0 delivers sharp images and a field of view of 17.5° x 13.1°. Objects up to 750 metres away appear crystal clear. With fixed focus and four-level digital zoom of 1.5x, 3x, 6x, and 12x, you can smoothly zoom in on every detail.
The camera features a range of colour palettes including Black Hot, White Hot, Red Hot, and Fusion, so you can easily select the display that best suits the situation. Quickly adjust brightness, contrast, and tone, and make use of handy functions such as Hotspot, Hottrack, and Picture-in-Picture (PIP) for additional insight. The built-in rangefinder lets you work with precision, while scene modes such as General and Compressed automatically optimise image quality.
The fixed focus works from 1.5 metres, making it ideal for observation in your immediate surroundings. With a dioptre adjustment of -5 D to +3 D, you can fine-tune the eyepiece to suit your eyes perfectly. Optimal image quality is ensured by FFC correction, which operates automatically, semi-automatically, or manually depending on your preference.
The internal 18650 lithium battery provides up to 6.5 hours of continuous use. Charging is easy via the USB Type-C port, which also supports data transfer. The TaipanV2 remains reliable in extreme conditions, from freezing -30 °C to scorching +55 °C. Weighing just 0.3 kg and with compact dimensions of 165 x 60 x 64 mm, it sits comfortably in the hand and is effortlessly portable wherever you go.
