The Braun Scouting Cam Black400 Dual WiFi Wildcamera delivers sharp images for reliable monitoring of hunting areas and property security. Whether you need a camera trap in hunting grounds or want to keep an eye on plots and buildings – with the Scouting Cam Black400 Dual WiFi, Braun Photo Technik presents a particularly versatile wildlife camera. The Scouting Cam Black400 Dual WiFi supports multiple Wi-Fi frequencies. Users can choose between two frequencies in the menu, enabling a direct connection between the camera and their smartphone. 2.4 GHz offers a greater range but slower transmission, while 5 GHz provides a shorter range but faster transmission.
Footage can be viewed, downloaded and deleted using the free app. The hassle of removing the memory card is a thing of the past with the Black400 Dual WiFi. The app also enables a live preview with the option to manually capture photos and videos. In addition to easy data transfer, the wildlife camera's system settings can also be managed via the Wi-Fi connection and the app.
What's more, the Braun Scouting Cam Black400 Dual WiFi can record video at resolutions up to 1440p, while photos can be taken at image resolutions up to 48 Megapixel. Thanks to the built-in infrared LEDs and the 4MP CMOS image sensor, both daytime and night-time shots are possible. Images can be stored on a MicroSD card of up to 256 GB. The wildlife camera also features a USB-C port for connecting to a PC or TV.
The resolution of photos and videos, along with many other parameters, can be adjusted via a connected smartphone and the app. Settings can also be made directly on the camera via the control panel and the 2.0-inch TFT colour display. Footage can also be viewed conveniently and directly on the colour display. Video resolution can be varied from 1440p to 1080p and 720p (30 fps). Image resolution can be set between 48 Megapixel and 4 Megapixel. The Braun SC400 Dual WiFi also features an integrated PIR motion sensor with three different sensitivity levels, a detection angle of 90 degrees, a trigger distance of up to 20 metres, and a trigger time of approximately 0.6 seconds.
The Braun Photo Technik wildlife camera also features an integrated microphone, a speaker, password protection, a time-lapse mode, and display of date, time, moon phase and temperature. The robust and weather-resistant (IP66) wildlife camera can be easily mounted in the desired location thanks to a fastening strap and a practical tree mount. The operating temperature range runs from -20 °C to +60 °C. Standby time is approximately eight months. The camera runs on six AA batteries. Optionally, the camera can also be used with a 9V 1A mains adapter.
