The Bresser Sirius 70/900 refractor telescope is a great entry-level telescope for the novice astronomer. This achromatic refractor telescope has a diameter of 70mm and a focal length of 900mm. The total magnification is therefore no less than 140x. The Sirius is suitable for planet and moon observations. Thanks to the included Barlow lens, the focal length can be multiplied by 3x. For this, we recommend that you only use it with very bright objects, such as the moon. The amount of details you see with the Barlow lens is a lot smaller than without this lens. The altazimuth mount is stable and easy to position. With the supplied smartphone adapter you can immediately take photos or videos of your observations.
