The Hoya 82mm Pro ND EX 64 reduces the amount of light passing through the lens by 6 stops. When shooting video outdoors, you can set shutter speeds to match the frame rate while maintaining the desired depth of field. When shooting moving objects, you can achieve motion blur, making the image look more cinematic.

For photography applications, the filter allows you to use longer exposures or achieve a shallow depth of field in bright sunlight. The Pro ND EX 64 filter uses Hoya's ACCU-ND technology to prevent colour shift and deliver consistent image quality. ACCU-ND evenly reduces light in both the visible and IR spectrum, so you won't experience colour shift when shooting in different outdoor conditions. The filter has an 82 mm thread on both the front and back. Additional ND filters can be stacked on the front, or you can attach a threaded lens cap or another filter.
