K&F Concept Variable ND Filter ND2-400 - 72mm

The K&F Concept Variable ND Filter ND2-400 - 72mm is designed for long exposure and motion blur techniques in changing light conditions. It reduces light intake by 1 to 9 stops without affecting the colour balance.

This ND2–ND400 variable filter, from the K&F Concept Nano D series, is made from HD AGC optical glass with a total of 24 multi-layer coatings that help repel water and dust, reducing reflections from the filter itself. The lens surface is oxidised and sandblasted to effectively prevent stray light from entering and to minimise reflections from the metal surface.

The ND2–ND400 variable filter features an ultra-wide-angle design with an ultra-slim frame of just 7.4 mm. The surface is finished with a CNC trapezoidal pattern that helps increase friction over a large area when rotating, making it easy to attach and remove lenses and other accessories.

Depending on the lens type and focal length, the filter may appear to produce a black "X" cross, but with continued rotation the shadow will naturally disappear — this is a natural physical phenomenon caused by the rotation of the adjustable ND lens.

This ND2–ND400 variable filter is compatible with all 49 mm lenses. Please check the thread size of your lens before ordering. The thread size is indicated somewhere on the lens cylinder or printed beneath the lens cap, and is always preceded by the symbol "ø" (diameter).
