The Leofoto Fluid video head BV-30 is a fluid head of the highest quality for use with professional video equipment or heavy-duty camera/lens combinations. Friction control on all axes ensures smooth camera movements and cushioned mechanics ensure smooth operation when shooting video, photography or nature observation. The video head is made of hard anodised aircraft aluminium, making it extremely stable. The silver dials for resistance control allow for stepless adjustment of resistance on both the vertical and horizontal axis.

In addition to fluid damping on the horizontal and vertical axis, this video head also features a counterweight suspension that is adjustable and disengageable in three positions. This prevents the tripod head from tilting forward or backward uncontrollably and adjusts the resistance during panning to the weight of the equipment. The long control arm can be mounted on either side and locked at any angle using the transmission. The BV-30 balances a weight of up to 20 kg using two integrated spirit levels. Thanks to fluid technology, the mounted camera moves absolutely smoothly and shock-free. The large dial ensures smooth, highly accurate friction control. The front tilt angle ranges from -90° to +90° and the panorama pan rotates 360°.

The camera is quickly and securely aligned on the long Arca-Swiss quick release plate (with two screws). Smooth, fluid subject tracking is a breeze with the comfortable 32cm-long pan handle. It can be mounted on either the right or left. The quick release also ensures quick and easy camera mounting.
