The Manfrotto Nitrotech 612 Fluid Video Head is a relatively lightweight and compact video head that is suitable for a variety of purposes. Its compact design makes it easy to move the head from a tripod to a slider, for instance. The flat bottom has a 3/8" screw, so you can mount it on various tripods. The balancing mechanism works on a nitrogen gas basis, making it very smooth and possible to do this continuously rather than in steps. This allows you to make minor adjustments during filming if necessary. Your video footage will also be tremendously smooth with tilt and pan movements.

The quick release plate can be changed faster than with other tripod heads thanks to the locking mechanism on the side. Two rosettes on the sides make attaching accessories, such as a magic arm, very easy with the Manfrotto Easy Link system. This tripod head's design makes it very good for use in low-temperature conditions.
