The MINT SLR670-X MING Edition (Type i) Instant Film Camera, a classic updated for more shooting versatility, is a revised Polaroid SX-70 Alpha 1 instant film camera, equipped with a Time Machine for manual exposure control and more flexible shooting options.

This SLR still has the signature folding design and features an optical TTL viewfinder and a 116 mm f/8 lens, which has a four-element optical design, manual focus and a minimum focusing distance of 10 inches.

Distinct from its classic heritage, the SLR670-X features a unique Time Machine module, which allows manual shutter speed adjustment, along with two automatic settings: one for ISO 600, Polaroid 600-type film, and one for ISO 100, SX-70-type film. This module also includes a 2.5mm audio port that can be used to synchronise an external flash for more creative shooting options. The original leather covers of this camera also distinguish itself from the classic look and have been replaced with durable and sophisticated, black-finished metal covers.

In addition, Polaroid's i-Type film can be used with this version of the SLR670-S camera.
