Ricoh GF-2 WW

The Ricoh GF-2 WW is a highly portable flash, exclusively designed for use with the Ricoh GR IV. With a maximum guide number of 3 (at ISO 100/m), this super-compact, ultra-lightweight accessory flash offers an automatic flash function when mounted on the body of the RICOH GR IV compact digital camera.

The GF-2 is exclusively designed for use with the premium compact camera RICOH GR IV and features a super-compact body for outstanding portability. It fits in a trouser pocket, even when attached to the GR IV.

When the GF-2 is mounted on the RICOH GR IV and the camera is set to ISO Auto Flash mode, the camera is able to automatically adjust the guide number and ISO sensitivity to match the distance to the subject. This mode enhances the snapshot capabilities of the GR IV during standard flash photography. (When the GF-2 is mounted on a model from the RICOH GR series other than the GR IV, it operates in full-discharge mode only, as the alignment of the flash contacts — excluding the X-sync contact — differs from that of the GR IV.)

The GF-2 is equipped with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which can be charged via a USB Type-C port. Even when the camera's battery runs low, this built-in battery stabilises the flash discharge level.
