Ricoh WG-80 orange
The Ricoh WG-80 is a robust compact camera, suitable for underwater photography and general outdoor use. The compact, lightweight body is water resistant (14 metres), shock- and drop-resistant (1.6 metres), freeze-resistant (down to -10°C) and pressure-resistant (100 kgf). The camera also features an outdoor-friendly 2.7” LCD screen. This means you don't have to worry about your camera, no matter how demanding the situation!
The WG-80 features a 18 MP CMOS sensor. The sensor is back-illuminated, which ensures a higher light output, less noise and a larger dynamic range. The sensor is designed in such a way that you can also shoot beautiful high-contrast images underwater. The maximum light sensitivity is ISO 6400. Even in darker lighting conditions, you can still take excellent photos with the Handheld Night Snap mode. The camera is so smart that it combines several photos into one photo without motion blur. With six LED macro lights around the lens, you can illuminate objects in Digital Microscope mode. The lights also offer a solution in the dark in the Self-Portrait Assist mode. The WG-80 has a filter function which makes two recordings in a row. One with filter on and one with filter out. This is especially handy if you wish to record animals on the plate
Thanks to the 5-25 mm (35 mm equivalent of 28-140 mm) lens you get 7.5x optical zoom, from a nice wide angle to light telephoto. The camera also offers 25 scene modes for variety in recording situations, but also face detection for 32 faces.
With the WG-80, you can also make beautiful videos in Full HD (1920 x 1080) at 30 fps. For the creative touch, the camera has a slow-motion mode. Should you use this, you'll be shooting in HD image quality (1280 x 720).
