SmallRig 5315 V-Mount Battery Mount Plate Kit (Pro)
The SmallRig 5315 V-Mount Battery Mount Plate Kit (Pro) is a compact, lightweight and convenient all-in-one V-mount battery expansion solution. The kit includes a V-mount battery plate, an Arca-Swiss quick-release plate and a protective bracket for the LCD screen.
The battery plate features an Arca-Swiss quick-release mechanism, enabling tool-free mounting and adjustment for fast installation of the V-mount battery. The Arca-Swiss clamp, equipped with an adjustment lever, is compatible with most Arca-Swiss plates on the market, including cages and L-bracket mounting plates, for seamless integration. The retractable design is suitable for mirrorless cameras of various sizes.
The V-mount battery plate is made from lightweight, durable aviation-grade aluminium and features a foldable design for improved portability and easy storage. The rotary control uses a stainless steel gear lock for secure operation and vibration-free footage, while a damping system prevents the plate from accidentally dropping during adjustment. When the plate is rotated 180°, it provides easy access to flip-out screens. The modular LCD protection bracket is tool-free adjustable in both height and width, fitting most mirrorless cameras with a flip screen while protecting against impacts.
The kit also includes cable clamps and an elastic hook-and-loop fastener for organised cable management, minimising the risk of snagging during shooting. The V-mount plate offers multiple mounting holes for cable clamps to allow customised routing.
In addition, the removable Arca-Swiss quick-release plate enables fast transitions between handheld and tripod use. Once removed, 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes are revealed for alternative mounting options. The V-mount plate features multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes and 1/4"-20 mounting holes, allowing optional accessories such as magic arms (SmallRig ID 3238B / 3873) for wireless transmitters and professional setups to be attached.
