The SmallRig 5949 mini Side and Top Handle Kit is designed for comfortable handheld filming. The set includes a NATO side handle, an ARRI top handle and a NATO rail, ensuring seamless compatibility with a wide range of camera cages.

SmallRig 5949 mini Side and Top Handle Kit

The handles offer versatile expansion options thanks to multiple interfaces, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes for attaching optional accessories such as remotes (SmallRig 3902) or magic arms (SmallRig 3873), and cold shoe mounts for attaching monitor stands (SmallRig 2905B), microphones (SmallRig 3487), or video lights (SmallRig 3286B).

The side handle can be mounted on either side of the cage. To switch sides, simply loosen the aluminium connector and attach it to the other side of the handle. In addition, the handle offers 30 mm of vertical adjustment via side screws, allowing the centre of gravity to be fine-tuned for optimal balance and control. The compact and lightweight handles can support a load of up to 10 kg. A built-in magnetic hex key makes mounting and adjustment straightforward.
