Sony XLR-A4 Digital XLR Audio Adapter

The Sony XLR-A4 enables professional digital audio recording directly in-camera via up to four channels. Using the Multi Interface Shoe, you can connect both XLR microphones and 3.5mm stereo microphones—without extra cables or external recorders. The adapter is specially developed for the Sony A7R VI and delivers the audio quality professionals demand on demanding productions.

Thanks to dual A/D converters and recording up to 96 kHz and 32-bit float, both quiet and loud sounds are captured clearly, with no risk of distortion and without needing to set gain on location. The compact, reinforced design ensures stable use on location, while the included extension cable allows flexible microphone placement.
