Spider X Camera Holster v3
The Spider Accessory Holster v3 clicks directly onto the Spider Belt or any other strap and provides quick access to your camera (maximum 2.3 kg) and other photography equipment such as an external flash, light tube, gimbal, selfie stick, binoculars and more!
The housing of the Spider X Holster is made from wear-resistant carbon fibre resin and is designed to withstand years of intensive use without compromise. The sturdy clip is made from spring steel and features a robust clasp. The holster is equipped with a two-position locking system, designed to give you complete control over your workflow:
Position 1: Automatic lock – Once a Spider v3 Plate Pin or other Spider v3 accessory is inserted, the holster locks automatically and your camera is secured. To release the camera, lift the lever and remove the camera. The holster returns to automatic lock.
Position 2: Quick-draw mode – Push the lever up until it clicks into place. The holster remains open for quick access. When you need maximum security again, simply push the lever back down to activate the automatic lock.
Spider Backpack Adapter
The backpack adapter can be attached to the shoulder strap of your backpack, or the front of the adapter can be hooked through a regular strap. The camera cushion on the backpack adapter has an elastic Velcro closure. This is used to secure the camera lens when not in use, preventing excessive camera movement and avoiding scratches.
The Spider X holster can also be removed from the adapter and attached to any strap for hip use. You can also use the complete Backpacker Kit with any strap.
The Backpack Adapter is compatible with SpiderLight or Spider X camera holsters and allows you to easily and securely click your holster into the Backpack Adapter.
Spider Camera Plate v3
The Spider Camera Plate v3 attaches to your DSLR camera or mirrorless camera using the camera's 1/4"-20 tripod connection. The plate features a laser-engraved centre marking for precise alignment and anti-slip rubber pads on the underside for stable and secure installation. The plate also features the stainless steel Spider Anti-Twist Pin v3.
The hex key for the plate's mounting screw is built directly into the Spider Plate for easy access! The (2) built-in 1/4"-20 connections allow you to attach your tripod plate/quick release. This eliminates the need to remove the plate to attach your equipment!
Spider Camera Plate v3 (Micro Plate)
The Spider Plate has a removable top section, known as the "Micro Plate", which can be mounted separately as an Arca Swiss-compatible tripod plate. The Micro Plate also features an integrated stainless steel QD (quick disconnect) connection that is compatible with all standard QD swivel couplings, such as those on the Spider Shoulder Harness System.
This Micro Plate is directly compatible with the Spider Backpack Adapter (not included) without requiring a Spider Camera Holster and can be mounted directly. When using the SpiderPro Hand Strap v2, the Micro Plate Slider has a dedicated attachment point for the Spider Handstrap. This ensures uninterrupted contact between the plate and the camera body, providing unrivalled stability.
Spider Plate Pin v3
The SpiderPro Plate Pin v3 is made from CNC-milled stainless steel and is specifically designed for use with v3 Spider Plates. It eliminates the issues associated with threaded pins, such as the thread loosening over time. It is not recommended to remove the Spider Pin unless it becomes damaged and needs replacing.
The Spider Anti-Twist Pin on this camera plate is fitted with thread-locking compound for secure attachment.
