The SWIT 290Wh 250W High Load V-mount Battery with USB-C features high output power, 2x D-tap, 65W USB-C, an OLED display with power information, battery health inspection, and drop resistance up to 1.2 m — built for professional cinematographers.

The CIMO-290S is made up of 24 ternary lithium cells with a nominal voltage of 14.4V, a large capacity of 290Wh and 20.1Ah. Ternary lithium cells offer higher energy density, achieving greater capacity in a smaller form factor with excellent low-temperature performance, enabling power delivery in environments down to -20°C.

The CIMO-290S delivers a high load of at least 250W/20A, even at 1% capacity (peak load up to 335W), to power demanding cinema cameras and on-camera devices simultaneously. The high-load cells also ensure the battery outlasts standard-load batteries, even under prolonged full load.

The CIMO-290S supports fast charging at 100W/6A via SWIT PC-P461S / MATRIX-S8 / S-3812S chargers — twice as fast as standard charging. The 6A fast charging does not affect the lifespan of the ternary lithium cells. The 290Wh battery can be charged from 0 to 80% within 2.5 hours and fully charged within 3.8 hours.

The CIMO-290S battery features an OLED display showing battery status and power information, including charge percentage and remaining runtime. Press and hold the power check button to view the battery cycle count and battery health level.

The CIMO-290S provides:

1x USB-C 60W input and 65W output for various on-camera devices

USB-C 65W output

The USB-C port on the CIMO-290S delivers 5V/9V/12V/15V 3A, 20V (max.) 3.25A, 65W high power for laptops and a wide range of smart devices, with universally compatible BC1.2, QC2.0/3.0, FCP, SCP, PD2.0/3.0 protocols.

The battery can also be charged via a USB-C charger with a PD2.0/3.0 output of ≥60W and is fully charged within 6.6 hours.

LED torch

Double-press the Power Check button to activate the LED torch on the rear of the battery, making it easy to locate the V-mount plate in a dark production environment. Double-press the Power Check button again to switch it off. It will switch off automatically after 60 seconds.

CIMO-series batteries feature a dual-shell housing and are resistant to drops from 1.2 metres at any angle — robust and reliable for filmmakers.
