The Voigtländer Nokton F1.4 40mm Leica M-Mount is a prime lens of normal length, developed for Leica M-cameras. The lens combines the comfortable, unique focus range with a particularly bright f/1.4 diaphragm, ideal for shooting in low light conditions, while also offering improved control over depth of field. The lens features a single coating, resulting in a more subtle image quality with slightly reduced contrast; perfect for black and white applications. In addition, the lens has a manual focus design, which makes it possible to work with a subject at a distance of only 70 cm, and a ten-blade diaphragm for a smooth bokeh quality.
