HDD vs SSD: what's the difference?

HDD and SSD are both hard drive types and are perfect for transferring files quickly and securely. They usually have a 3.0 USB connector, but are also UBS 2.0 compatibility, so you can also use them with older computers or tablets.

While HDDs are generally considered more shock- and drop-resistant, SSDs are no less so these days. Moreover, they operate almost silently and are considerably faster. However, an HDD is a lot cheaper and often offers more storage space.
