DJI SDR Transmission 2 Combo

The DJI SDR Transmission 2 Combo is a wireless video transceiver set for professional film sets, consisting of two transceivers that you can put to work right away as transmitter and receiver. One transmitter connects with up to eight receivers at the same time and sends DCI 4K/60fps 10-bit HDR wirelessly with 35 ms latency. Compact and lightweight, yet ready for the most demanding production environments.

Each unit works as both transmitter and receiver, so you can divide the roles on set flexibly without extra hardware. Auto Channel 2.0 handles channel management automatically: as soon as you set the channel mode to 'Auto', the transceivers recognize each other, scan the spectrum more precisely and switch frequency as soon as interference threatens. On a set with several groups working side by side the image stays stable, even when the wireless environment is busy.

Connecting requires no pairing process: scan in a receiver and you see that camera's image right away. That makes switching quickly between camera positions much easier for the director or script supervisor. Good to know: the SDR Transmission 2 does not work together with other DJI video transmission products such as the SDR Transmission or DJI Transmission. If you use several systems at the same location, make sure the center frequencies do not overlap.

Via the USB-C port on the bottom you connect the transceiver to the DJI RS 5, RS 4, RS 4 Pro, RS 3 Pro, Ronin 2 or Master Wheels. This lets you control the gimbal wirelessly through the DJI Ronin app, including Force Mobile, virtual joystick and recentering. The gimbal also powers the transceiver, so you do not need a separate battery. Please note: for the RS 4, RS 4 Pro and RS 3 Pro you need the separate Gimbal Control Cable (USB-C to CAN); for the Ronin 2 and Master Wheels the USB-C to 4-pin version. Both cables are sold separately.

Power can be supplied via USB-C (PD, 65 W adapter minimum), via NP-F batteries or via the gimbal. Each transceiver weighs approximately 136 grams including antennas and therefore fits on virtually any camera rig.
