The DJI SDR Transmission 2 Gimbal Control Cable (USB-C to CAN) connects the SDR Transmission 2 transceiver to a DJI RS 4 Pro, RS 4 or RS 3 Pro, so you can wirelessly control the gimbal via the Ronin app and power the transceiver through the gimbal.
  • Required for wireless control of RS 4 Pro, RS 4 and RS 3 Pro
  • Force Mobile, virtual joystick and gimbal recentering via the DJI Ronin app
  • Transceiver is powered by the gimbal battery
  • Not suitable for Ronin 2 or Master Wheels (USB-C to 4-pin required)

DJI SDR Transmission 2 Gimbal Control Cable USB-C to CAN

The DJI SDR Transmission 2 Gimbal Control Cable (USB-C to CAN) is the connecting cable between the SDR Transmission 2 transceiver and a DJI RS 4 Pro, RS 4 or RS 3 Pro gimbal stabilizer. Without this cable you cannot control the gimbal through the transceiver.

Once connected, you control the gimbal wirelessly through the DJI Ronin app, with support for Force Mobile, the virtual joystick and gimbal recentering. The cable also handles power supply: the transceiver is powered by the gimbal battery, so you do not have to bring a separate battery. If you have a camera on the gimbal, you can also take photos and start or stop recordings remotely through the app, provided you connect an additional Multi-Camera Control Cable between gimbal and camera.

Good to know: for use with a Ronin 2 or DJI Master Wheels you need the Gimbal Control Cable (USB-C to 4-pin), not this cable. If you connect the transceiver to the stabilizer via the quick-release plate, vertical shooting in native portrait mode is not possible.
