The Fotodiox Pro lens mount adapter is a lens mount for Canon FD & FL 35mm lenses on a Nikon F body. The adapter offers infinity focus, manual aperture control, and a solid construction of durable quality. It features a built-in aperture adjustment dial for controlling the lens opening. The fit is precise, ensuring the lens has no play, gap, or wobble when mounted on the adapter. The Fotodiox is a manual adapter. Lens functions that rely on electronic communication with the camera body (autofocus, AE metering, image stabilisation, etc.) will be disrupted. Focus-by-wire lenses such as Canon STM or Nikon AF-P require power to activate the manual focus rings on the lens. If your lens does not have a manual aperture control ring, the lens opening will return to its default position. Depending on the lens, it will either stop down to the largest f-stop or open up to the smallest f-stop.
