The RevoRing MKII continues this innovation with an improved locking mechanism that provides greater security and stability during filming.
At the heart of the RevoRing MKII is a retractable variable-diameter lamellar system with a new safety button. This improved locking mechanism ensures a firm grip on the lens and prevents accidental detachment, particularly during dynamic shoots. Thanks to this implementation, photographers and filmmakers can now work with complete confidence in any environment, whether in the studio or on location.
The RevoRing MKII retains its defining characteristic: a retractable variable-diameter lamellar system, making it compatible with a range of lens sizes. One of the most significant improvements to the RevoRing MKII is its expanded compatibility. It now integrates seamlessly with H&Y's RevoSwift series, including the RevoSwift Matte Box and the 100x100mm magnetic filter system. With the RevoSwift Bridge Ring, you can easily mount 100x100mm or 100x150mm filters onto the RevoRing MKII, making it the most versatile system available for creative professionals who need flexibility in light control and image enhancement.
The RevoRing MKII offers greater stackability, allowing photographers to combine multiple filters — such as 100x100mm or 100x150mm magnetic filters — with the VND + CPL without disrupting settings. Combined with the RevoSwift Matte Box, the RevoRing MKII becomes a powerful and flexible platform that expands the creative possibilities for light control and image quality refinement.
Please note: With wide-angle lenses with a focal length of 18–35mm, an X-ray effect may occur at an ND value of 64 or higher. At these focal lengths, it is recommended not to exceed the ND factor (32/5 stops).
