The Laowa ACRIS 35mm f/2.8 1X Macro APO is a full-frame macro lens for full-frame Canon EF cameras. Thanks to the 1:1 magnification and a focusing distance of 18cm, you can get close to your subject and take beautiful macro photos. The lens has a focal length of 35mm, which means you can capture more of the surroundings compared with a 90 or 100mm macro lens, for example an insect on a leaf.

The lens has a fast aperture of f/2.8, which lets you capture photos at dusk or in difficult lighting conditions without pushing your ISO high. The lens has 9 rounded aperture blades, which gives a soft, round bokeh. The lens has 13 elements in 10 groups, including 1 Extra-Low Dispersion element and 1 Ultra High Refraction element, which reduce both chromatic and lateral aberrations. The optical construction of the lens lets you capture sharp details.

The lens has a hybrid focusing system. With autofocus (Sony E, Nikon Z and Canon EF) you focus from infinity to 0.5m, and for macro mode, where the lens magnifies up to 1:1, you switch to manual with the Focus Assist button. Canon RF and L-mount are only available as manual versions.

The lens weighs 530 grams and is equipped with dust- and splash-proof sealing. The internal focusing keeps the length of the lens constant, so the front does not come into contact with delicate plants or living subjects.
