Leica 19210 Q3 - Metal Gray Paint Finish
The Leica Q3 in Metal Gray Paint Finish is a compact full-frame camera with a fixed Summilux 28mm f/1.7 ASPH. lens, designed for photographers and videographers who want outstanding image quality in a portable and intuitive package. The Metal Gray finish was specially developed to complement the Leica M11-P Metal Gray and gives the camera a timeless, contemporary appearance.
The 60-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor with Triple Resolution Technology allows you to choose between 60, 36 or 18 megapixel output, while always using the full sensor area. This means that no image quality is lost at lower resolutions, and you can adapt file sizes to your workflow without compromising the 14-stop dynamic range and ISO range of 50 to 100,000.
The fixed Summilux 28mm f/1.7 ASPH. lens with optical image stabilisation delivers outstanding performance in a variety of lighting conditions. The integrated macro mode enables focusing from as close as 17 cm for detailed close-ups, while the digital zoom function simulates a range from 28 to 90mm for added flexibility without changing lenses. The hybrid autofocus system combines phase detection, contrast detection and Depth from Defocus (DFD) for fast and precise focusing, with intelligent subject recognition for eyes, faces, bodies and animals.
For video, the Q3 offers recording in 8K up to 30fps, 4K up to 60fps with 4:2:2 10-bit colour depth and ProRes 422 HQ in Full HD. The Maestro IV processor with 8GB buffer memory ensures fast processing and smooth operation across all resolutions and codecs. The tilting 3-inch touchscreen LCD with 1.84 megapixels and the OLED electronic viewfinder with 5.76 megapixels and 0.79x magnification give you complete control over your composition from any angle.
Wireless connectivity via Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 enables file transfers up to 10 times faster than the previous generation, with transfer speeds of up to 35 MB/s through the Leica FOTOS app. With the app, you can manage file transfers, remote control, firmware updates and import special Leica Looks for a personalised colour style directly into the camera. The USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 connection supports data transfer, tethered shooting via Capture One or Adobe Lightroom, power delivery and in-camera charging. The camera is certified as Made for iPhone and iPad for a direct wired connection without additional software.
With the optional HG-DC1 Wireless Charging Handgrip, the Q3 supports wireless charging via Qi-compatible charging pads, ensuring the camera is always ready for use. Content Credentials technology adds a digital signature to every image, making its origin and any edits fully verifiable and resistant to fraud. The magnesium body is dust- and moisture-resistant (IP52) and is handcrafted in Germany.
