The Plustek OpticFilm 8200i Ai is a powerful scanner with a resolution of 7200 dpi and a color depth of 48-bit. This scanner produces excellent images of 35mm negatives or slides, and achieves a very high sharpness in the corners and a wide color gamut. The Optic Film 8200i Ai uses a built-in infra-red channel, which detects and removes dust and scratches in combination with the Silver iSRD function. The included film holders for negative or mounted slides keep the material firmly in place and Plustek delivers 8 calibration slides to calibrate the scanner in only 2 minutes. The also included SilverFast Ai Studio 8 software is optimized for the OpticFilm 8200 scanner and includes the ability to increase the dynamic range, remove dust and scratches and to reduce noise to a minimum.
