Western Digital My Book 8 TB

The Western Digital My Book is an external hard drive for desktops and laptops with a buffering capacity of 8 TB. The My Book features WD Backup software with support for Windows and Apple Time Machine. The disk is formatted for Windows, for use with a Mac the drive must first be re-formatted. Do you want full automatic system backups? That is also possible in combination with Acronis® True Image WD Edition software with which backups can be scheduled.

The My Book is connected to a high-speed USB 3.0 connection, but is also compatible with USB 2.0 devices. For the power supply it comes with an external AC adapter. To protect your files, you can make use of the WD Security software. The My Book has built-in hardware-based 256-bit AES file encryption with which you can protect your files with a personal password.
