With the 20.4 megapixel Stacked BSI Live MOS sensor, you can enjoy image quality that rivals full-frame system cameras. This 4/3 sensor delivers impressive resolution and beautiful colour reproduction. In addition, the whisper-quiet shutter allows you to work discreetly, which is essential when capturing birds and wildlife.
With the help of AI, the autofocus has been improved compared to the OM-1, allowing you to track not only animals and vehicles but also people. Artificial intelligence ensures that the camera continues to track faces and eyes even when they are temporarily no longer visible, for example when the subject turns around.
With the OM-1 II, you truly never have to miss a moment again. In the new ProCapture mode, the camera already captures images at 120fps when you half-press the shutter button. In addition, the buffer of the OM System OM-1 II has more than doubled. You can now capture 213 images before the buffer is full. This allows you to shoot continuously with autofocus for up to 4 seconds. These photos are captured in 14-bit, compared to 10-bit with the OM-1.
The OM-1 II allows you to work in all weather conditions. The camera features an advanced sealing system that protects against water, cold and dust. Furthermore, the camera is equipped with the LiveGND function, a built-in ND filter up to 128ND, giving you even more control over exposure in your images.
Thanks to the size and weight of the body, the OM-1 II is also ideal for vlogs and short videos for social media. You can also film vertically with the OM-1 II, with footage automatically rotated. This means you do not need to rotate it during post-processing.

The OM SYSTEM BLX-1 battery is specially designed for the OM System OM-1 system camera. The battery has a capacity of 2280mAh and delivers 7.2V output power. In addition, you can easily charge the BLX-1 battery with compatible battery chargers.
